June 22, 2025 All good things in this world carry the vitality of God the Father. The Holy Spirit has breathed life into them.

 

Dear Jesus,

A friend of mine told me that he rarely thinks about life, its meaning, and who God is.

“How can I know who He is, where He is, and what He does?”

Dear child,

Truly I tell you, there are many people like that. They live day by day, paying attention only to problems of this earthly life. Living like that does not mean they commit any sin, but they are just wasting the days that God the Father gave them to understand His will, and the purpose of life on this earth.

When He created you, He created you in His image. And each of you when coming to this earth carries His image, or the Holy Spirit deep within your soul. 

Therefore, when you say you love God the Father, you must love your brother first. Whoever says he loves God the Father but hates his brother is a liar.

All good things in this world carry the vitality of God the Father. The Holy Spirit has breathed life into them.

Listen to the birds chirping to wake each other up to enjoy a beautiful new day, and you will understand that the Holy Spirit gives them life and vitality. They are also intelligent and know how to be happy. When there is a cool day their calls are bustling and chirping. In the afternoon, when they lose their friends, their calls sound sad and sorrowful. Have you ever seen a bird that died in an accident on the road, and its friend stood by and cried?

Every morning when you go out to the backyard and look at the crape myrtle in bloom, don't think it is an inanimate flower tree. The Holy Spirit breathes life into it. If you love it, fertilize it, water it, it will bloom for you. Plants and trees that are loved,  and cared for,  will grow strong instead of withering over the years.

The French Romantic poet Alphonse de Lamartine (1790-1869) understood that even inanimate objects have souls. In his poem about his homeland “Milly ou terre natale”, he wrote:

“Inanimate objects, don’t you have souls?

Your souls are joined to mine, giving me the strength to love?”

My dear child,

If you meditate, you will see that God the Father is present everywhere in the world you live in. He is very close to you, closer than your breath, although your physical eyes cannot see Him. He loves you as if you were His only child in this world. When you understand this, you will love Him more. 

 I have only one commandment: 

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and love your neighbor as yourself.”

Dear Jesus,

Let me know You and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word and practice it in my daily life. Know myself to change my path into Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and  You will  be always with me.
