January 16, 2026. DearJesus, How can I live the rest of my life in peace?

 

Dear Jesus,

Life is full of deceit, trickery, greed, and dishonesty... full of ups and downs, of illnesses, suffering, death, separations, and sorrows…

 When I flip through my phone book, I cross out the names of many people I spoke to on the phone just five or ten years ago. Some of my friends passed away, some are still alive, but no longer answering my phone calls.

DearJesus,

How can I live the rest of my life in peace?

 I cannot be like an ostrich burying its head in the sand to avoid seeing the horrific sights, but I must lift it up and look at the events happening around me.

My dear child,

YOU CAN ONLY LIVE IN THE PRESENT MOMENT, WHICH IS TODAY.

Today is a precious gift that God has given you. Look at Today as the only gift you have, and there may not be a tomorrow if God calls you home tonight.

If it is the only day you can live, focus on it, treat it as  it were the last day of your life.

When you treat it as the last day, you will cherish every hour, every minute, every second. Your thoughts will be directed towards goodness. You will reconcile with those you have wronged or shown a lack of charity.

Today:

“LOVE GENEROUSLY” everyone you meet on your path, whether they are close friends or strangers.

“CARE DEEPLY,”  those who need your help, care, and comfort.

“SPEAK KINDLY” to everyone, without discrimination.

“AND LEAVE THE REST TO GOD”, the future you cannot control.

This life is full of tribulations and uncertainties, trust that God, your Father, who created you in His own image, will never abandon you.

Walk in peace amidst the storms and trials of this life in confidence, and know that you always have My Father and Myself beside you. 

When you understand this, every day you live on this treacherous earth is a day of joy and hope.

Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.

May my meditation bring many more readers,  who are not yet believers, into your Forever Family.
