 Dear Jesus,

Many years, from my youth to adulthood, I had only a vague idea about what my goal in this life is. I thought that I would  work to provide food for my family, and use my work to assist those around me.

It was only after years of meditation that I came to clearly realize that every soul sent to this earthly realm bears a specific mission, a distinct purpose. Each of us must seek out and discover what that mission is, and strive with all our might to fulfill it.

You let me know that I am but a humble disciple, following in your footsteps to carry Your words of love to my brothers and sisters around me, with no discrimination about their races, skin colors, and countries…

Your Words have echoed throughout this world for over two thousand years, yet not everyone has the ears to hear them, nor the heart to truly feel them. The world today is clamorous with the pursuit of material wealth, and the myriad ambitions of humanity often drown out the sound of Your voice.

But still remain souls who thirst for the Truth, souls who yearn for Your loving words:

“Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest; for My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

“Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble of heart.”

You have encouraged me to sow the seeds of hope, of joy, of love, and of peace along the path I journey. Even if in the future, I am no longer present in this earthly realm, these tiny seeds will grow into mighty trees, so that one day weary travelers traveling along this dusty, sun-scorched road of life may find rest beneath their cool sheltering shade.

You have often taught me:

“Create a little Heaven right where you are.”

For many little Heavens, joined together, will form one great Heaven upon this earthly realm. You also taught:

“Love generously, Care deeply, Speak kindly, and leave the rest to God.”

DearJesus,

Grant me steadfast strength and a sound mind in a healthy body, so that I may carry Your Word to my brothers and sisters; and when You call me home, I shall answer:

“Dear Jesus, here I am.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.

May my meditation bring many more readers,  who are not yet believers, into your Forever Family.
