March 8, 2026. During 40 days of meditation and fasting on Mount Hermon, I decided that when I came down to this world, I would live a normal life like my disciples. I used...
Dear Jesus,
What happened on the way to Jerusalem? Was your arrest and death in Jerusalem part of God the Father's plan?”
"Peter and the other apostles did not want Me to go to Jerusalem, they feared the Pharisees would arrest Me, but I went anyway because it was the last chance to awaken the Pharisees and help them return to the path of righteousness.
" When the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, who had tried to trap Me with their questions, I turned to the listening crowd and told them another parable:
“There was a good man who had a vineyard. He fenced it, put a winepress in it, and built a watchtower. He leased the vineyard to tenants while he went away. When harvest time approached, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect the rent. But they conspired among themselves and refused to pay. Instead, they beat his servants, striking some, stoning others, and sending the rest away empty-handed. When the master heard all this, he sent his more trustworthy servants to these wicked tenants, and they were injured and humiliated. Then the master sent his favorite servant, his steward, and they killed him. But he was patient, and sent many other servants, but they would not cooperate.” “Whom did they accept? Some were beaten, some were killed, and when the landowner was treated like this, he decided to send his son to these ungrateful tenants, saying to himself, ‘They may mistreat the servants, but surely they will respect my beloved son.’ But when these stubborn and wicked tenants saw the landowner’s son, they said to one another, ‘This is the heir; let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours.’ So they seized him, and after driving him out of the vineyard, they killed him. When the landowner hears how they refused and killed his son, what will he do with these ungrateful and wicked tenants?” And when the people hear this parable and my question, they answer, “He will destroy those ungrateful people and rent the vineyard to other honest gardeners, who will pay him the produce in due season.”
Seeing a group of Pharisees and Sadducees approaching, I said:
“You know how your ancestors rejected the prophets, and you also know that in your hearts you have decided to reject the Son of God.” “Have you not read in the Scriptures about the stone that the builders rejected, and which the people found and used as the cornerstone? Therefore, I warn you again: if you continue to reject this Gospel, the kingdom of heaven will be taken away from you and given to a people willing to receive it and produce the fruits of the Holy Spirit. There is a mystery concerning this stone: whoever follows it and believes in it will be saved; but whoever is struck by it will be crushed to dust, and his ashes will be scattered in the four corners of the earth.”
When the Pharisees heard these words, they understood that I was speaking to them and the other Jewish leaders. They wanted to arrest Me immediately, but they feared the crowd. Angered by my words, they withdrew and discussed among themselves how to kill Me. And that night, both the Sadducees and the Pharisees joined hands to plan a trap for Me the following day.”
I knew the arduous path I would take, the path that would lead Me to death, but out of love for humanity, I did not refuse it. The vineyard is the Kingdom of Heaven, and the Son of the Owner of the vineyard is Myself. During 40 days of meditation and fasting on Mount Hermon, I decided that when I came down to this world, I would live a normal life like my disciples. I used miracles to heal others, but not for myself. I also knew heat, cold, hunger, thirst, joy, sorrow, fear…like you, but I always put the Will of My Father above all things. The Will of My Father is All-Good. The act of arresting and killing Me was not the Father's Will. No one leads their children to evil; this is what the Jews did when they allowed jealousy and hatred to darken their conscience and lead them to do wrong. God the Father sent Me into the world to teach you to live in love, forgiveness, and service to one another. God the Father never intended for Me to come to this world to die a painful and humiliating death on the cross. Remember God the Father, Almighty and All-Good.
Dear Heavenly Father,
Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.
May my meditation bring many more readers, who are not yet believers, into your Forever Family.
Please bless all those who read this meditation in my Blog.
AMEN.
