 Dear Jesus,

How do You want me to live with You?

Beloved,

First, you must understand the relationship between Me and you. When I was on earth, the apostle Philip said:

"Please show me the Father."

I replied:

"My Father and I are ONE. Whoever sees Me sees the Father."

My Father is the One who created heaven and earth, and who created you in His image. He grants you the freedom of choice. You are free human beings, not slaves.

The primary relationship between you and Me is that of Creator and created. Yet I also said:

"I do not call you servants, but friends."

I am your Creator and your intimate companion, but the love I bear for you is the love of a Father—the love of an Almighty and All-Good Father.

It would bring Me great joy if you all came to Me each day, setting aside time to confide in Me.

I wish to see you as children who have been away from home and have now returned to sit beside Me, sharing all your joys, sorrows, fears, and dreams. You may speak freely and pour out your hearts. I listen to everything; do not be afraid, for I know that while you are good, you are also weak. Live like Mary—the sister of Lazarus and Martha of Bethany—sitting at My feet to listen to Me and confide in Me.

So many of you merely recite prayers without truly confiding in Me. You say you cannot hear My voice, you feel you are only engaging in a monologue.

Hearing Me can be difficult, yet it can also be very easy. If you have read the Old Testament, you surely heard Me call Samuel three times. Now, I rarely call out to you as I once called Samuel, yet you can sense My voice within your hearts. Many times, I shield you and hold you back from doing what is evil or dangerous. A thought may arise, and you intend to act upon your own desires, but you hear a clear message in your mind: 

"No, do not do it"—and you stop. That is Me speaking to you.

Practice speaking with Me, then pause to listen for My reply.

If you persevere and seek Me with all your heart and soul, you will hear My voice. Once you hear Me, I will teach and guide you—not only during those quiet moments of morning stillness, but at every moment of the day whenever you think of Me.

Beloved Jesus,

I thank You for this lesson of love. Please help me persevere in listening for Your voice during times of sorrow and days of joy alike. Our lives pass so quickly. You are my boundless source of comfort on the journey to the Father's House. Today, though storms may rage, with You by my side, what have I to fear? What could I possibly lack?

Please remain with me always—in sunshine and in rain, in joy and in sorrow.

Dear Jesus,

 Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.

May my meditation bring many more readers,  who are not yet believers, into your Forever Family.
