September 17, 2026. Sermon on the Mount (Second and third Beatitudes)

 Dear Jesus,

Last time You gave me the First beatitude on the Sermon on the Mount

Happy are the poor in spirit, the Humble. 

Please give and explain to me the Second and Third Beatitudes.

Dear little child,

The Second Beatitude is this:

“Happy are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted”.

When you are sorrowful, feel free to pour out your heart to Me. If you wish to weep, then weep. It is a mistake to think that weeping in times of sorrow is unbefitting of a man or a boy. Even the great figures of this world had moments of weeping. Moses once wept before Me and My Father, yet he was stronger than Samson or Goliath. 

It is precisely in these moments of sorrow and weeping that you sense My Father and Me drawing very close to you—feeling embraced, protected, and comforted. Yet, remember always that I am within you and beside you, whether you are joyful or sorrowful.

Here is the third beatitude:

“ Happy are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.”

Meekness here means doing the will of the Father in heaven ("Your Will be done"); it means not seeking revenge as the Law of Moses prescribed—"an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." Instead, it means: if someone demands your outer garment, give them your inner garment as well; if someone strikes your right cheek, turn the other to them; if someone asks you to go one mile with them, go two. 

Meekness here does not imply fear or weakness; rather, it signifies great strength—for you have conquered yourself by choosing to follow the Father's Will.

Dear Jesus,

Please help me to live according to your advice and to do the Will of Our Father.

• Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.
