Dear Jesus,
How should one live to attain peace?
Beloved,
I have often taught my apostles and disciples:
"Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." — Matthew 11:29
• The meaning of "gentle" (Greek: *praus*): In the biblical context, gentleness does not imply weakness; rather, it signifies strength under control—a tenderness and a humble reliance upon God, rather than upon oneself.
• The meaning of "humble in heart": This reflects a profound humility and an approachable nature. I am always ready to welcome even the poorest, the most wounded, and those carrying the heaviest burdens, without ever displaying harshness or arrogance.
.The promise: By submitting to My guidance—symbolized by the yoke used in farming—and by learning from My character, you will find true rest and peace for your soul.
My little one,
You live in a chaotic world; seek the Truth. To know the Truth, you must learn to listen. To learn to listen, you must humble yourself. Do not concern yourself with praise or criticism that is unfounded. However, when praise or criticism is valid, you must be willing to listen and correct yourself.
"Those who offer honest praise are your friends; those who offer honest criticism are your teachers.”
"Among three people walking together, there is surely one who can be your teacher”
—this famous philosophical concept from Confucius is recorded in the *Analects*.
At its core, this teaching encourages an attitude of openness and humility, urging you to learn from everyone you encounter in life.
When you are willing to humble yourself and listen—with an open mind—to what is right and true, you set aside your ego, allowing your heart to find peace.
Those who live with arrogance, refusing to listen, often face irreparable breakdowns in their relationships.
In a family, if spouses and children fail to listen to one another regarding what is right and reasonable, discord will arise, making it difficult for them to live together.
Similarly, if a ruler or a head of state refuses to humble themselves and listen to their subordinates—failing to discern right from wrong—they risk making disastrous decisions that could lead to the ruin of the nation.
Dear Jesus,
Let me know You, and let me know myself. Know You to listen to Your Word, and put it into practice in my daily life. Know me to change my path to Your righteous one, to have Heaven in my heart, and You are always with me.
May my meditation bring many more readers, who are not yet believers, into your Forever Family.
Please bless all those who read this meditation in my Blog.
AMEN.
