November 6, 2026. Parable of the “Great Banquet”:

Dear Jesus,

In the liturgy for November 3, 2026, the Scripture features the “Parable of the Great Banquet.”

Please explain to me the meaning of this parable.

 Parable of the “Great Banquet”:

“…Upon hearing these words, one of those sitting at the table with Jesus said to Him:

‘Blessed is the one who will eat at the banquet in the kingdom of God!’

Jesus replied:

‘A man once prepared a great banquet and invited many guests. When the time for the banquet arrived, he sent his servant to tell those who had been invited:

“Come, for everything is now ready.”

“But most of them began to offer excuses. The first said:

“I have just purchased a field, and I must go and see it. Please, accept my apologies.”

“Another said:

“I have just bought five yokes of oxen, and I am on my way to test them. Please, accept my apologies.”

“Yet another said:

“I have just gotten married, so I cannot come.”

“The servant returned and reported everything to his master. The master became angry and said:

“Go out quickly into the streets and alleys of the city, and bring in the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame.”

“The servant replied:

“Master, what you commanded has been done, but there is still room.”

“The master said:

“Go out to the main roads and the countryside, invite them to come in, so that my house may be filled.”

“I tell you, not one of those who were invited earlier will get to share in my banquet.’” — Luke 14:15-

My dear child,

God the Father always loves and watches over His children, inviting each of you to share in and receive His love. Yet, there are those who, preoccupied with worldly affairs, decline the invitation to join this Banquet of Love.

Be careful; time and opportunities may pass, never to return a second time in your life.

Dear Jesus,

As long as God the Father grants me life in this world—a place filled with trials and suffering—I will continue to write down my meditations on Your teachings. I will share them with my brothers and sisters , so they may know they are never alone. God the Father is always with them—comforting, protecting, and loving them. Whenever they turn their thoughts toward Him, He is right there by their side. Please help me to fulfill my wish, My Lord.”

Dear Heavenly Father,

Grant that I may come to know You, and to know myself. To know You, to listen to Your Word and put it into practice in my daily life. To know myself, to transform my own path into Your righteous one—finding Heaven within my heart, and  You will stay with me forever.

May all who read this meditation come to understand  Your love and return to You as Your children.

Please grant peace to everyone who read this meditation. AMEN.
